The present research aimed to determine the relationship between academic procrastination and psychological well-being in students of psychopedagogical specialties in a Private Institute in Lima. The methodology used responds to a type of substantive research, with a correlational descriptive design; in a population made up of 210 students, classified into two age groups, early adults (69.3%) and middle adults (30.7%), between males (10.3%) and females (89.7%); of which 117 students were chosen. The instruments used were the Academic Procrastination Scale, prepared by Ann Busko and adapted by Alvarez (2010) and finally validates by Dominguez, S.; Villegas, G. y Cente, Sh. (2014), and the Psychological Well being Scale, prepared by Ryff (1989) and adapted by Álvarez (2019). The results indicate that there is a highly significant, inverse and small-magnitude correlation between Postponement of activities and psychological well-being, as well as a highly significant, direct and medium magnitude correlation between academic self-regulation and psychological well-being. In addition, partial correlations were found between the dimensions of Academic Procrastination and the dimensions of Psychological Well-being
