The research sought to determine the relationship of knowledge of biosafety measures with its practice in the nurse of the surgical center of Hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2021. The type of study is correlational. The population sample was 17 nurses. According to the results obtained, we found that 41.2% were between the ages of 36 to 45 years and 11.8% were 56 years or older; 100% were female; In relation to employment status, 58.8% were appointed and 41.2% were hired, and in terms of length of service, 41.2% were between 1 to 5 years old, followed by 29.4% who were between 6 to 10 years old and 29.4% were over 15 years old. In addition, 94.1% presented a high level of knowledge of biosafety measures and 5.9% a medium level. In the practice of biosafety measures, 94.1% presented adequate practice, 5.9% presented inadequate practices of biosafety measures. The Chi-square value was 0.750 and p = 0.386> 0.05, there being no relationship between both variables.
