The objective of this research work was to identify the main factors to use for greater profitability of the Private Pension System of Chile and the Private Pension System of Peru during the period 2017-2019. Since it was sought to characterize the study problem by identifying and delving into the factors that explain it without using an inferential analysis, for several periods of time, without manipulating the natural state of the variables, making use of numerical data and following the steps: observation, formulation of the hypothesis and deduction; the research design wasdescriptive explanatory, longitudinal, non-experimental, quantitative and hypothetical deductive. The sample consisted of the time series of the returns of thePrivate Pension System of Chile and the Private Pension System of Peru during theperiod 2017-2019 The documentary analysis was considered as a technique, through the instrument the record sheet. He concludes that the main work factors leading to higher profitability of the Private Pension System of Chile and the PrivatePension System of Peru during 2017-2019 are greater flexibility in investing abroad, number of affiliates, the level of labor formality. and the income per inhabitant, which is evidenced by the application of the Wilcoxon Test for the comparison of means, which yielded a p-value less than 0.05 for the different factors and therefore it can be said that there are significant differences between the mean populations of the factors of Peru and Chile. Likewise, while the profitability of the Private Pension System in Chile has grown at an average annual rate of 9.6%, the profitability of the Private Pension System in Peru has grown at an average annual rate of 6.5%.
