To identify the factors associated with musculoskeletal disorders due to teleworking in teachers of the School of Human Medicine of the Antenor Orrego Private University, Piura and Trujillo, in the year 2020. MATERIAL AND METHODS. An analytical cross-sectional observational study was developed in 300 teachers from the School of Human Medicine of the Antenor Orrego Private University, Piura and Trujillo campuses during September and October 2020. Non-randomized sampling was carried out. The collection was carried out virtually through a data collection form in which the Nordic Kuorinka questionnaire will be included. Descriptive and analytical statistics were used. To quantify the association, the Poisson regression will be performed for robust variances in order to calculate the raw and adjusted prevalence ratio according to statistical criteria (p<0.05 and 95% CI). RESULTS: Results by pain segments were evaluated, finding after the analysis adjusted for confounders significant associations for the neck area (sex, single marital status, 3 years of teaching and number of courses taught), shoulder (sex, research specialty and teaching-administrative work), back-lumbar (sex, being married and research specialty), elbow-forearm (number of hours dictated in the week), and wrist hand (sex, mountain region, clinical specialty and surgical specialty) . CONCLUSIONS: There are factors associated with MSDs by specific regions. These must be taken into account to prioritize rehabilitation interventions in personnel with these characteristics.
