In the present work of titulación analyzes the impact of the climatic changes as they are the intense rains in our region, of where it descends our preoccupation and is that we propose an alternative of solution for the so many problems of our city, in this case Otuzco, where the roofs of houses are very vulnerable in front of the direct interaction with the water product of heavy rains in times of winter. Therefore, our approach to a mortar based on prickly pear cactus is essential, so that its application contributes to the achievement of a longer life of the roof of the houses that make up the tiles. In this case we used an experimental study design, for which we studied 2 tests in terms of proportions in the mixture, to determine the best and most accurate alternative, this was best determined with statistical tables of data collection of each trial in the samples chosen for our experimentation; there are many methods of studying the experiment, but for this case we use the scientific method, for which use is made of the observation and use of materials to help the whole process. While the process in general was the adhesion of various materials and construction materials such as sand and clay, together with the baba extracted from the nopal with domestic processes and own instruments for the limitations found throughout the work, but the previous knowledge In terms of materials and construction systems, they benefit us in part, and proposing an alternative as a solution to a problem is that we were able to obtain positive results directly related to the objectives and goals set at the beginning.
