The purpose of this research work was to determine the relationship between the work environment and Burnout syndrome in nurses from critical areas Covid-19 Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo, 2022. The type of study was non-experimental, descriptive-correlational, cross-sectional; There was a sample of 81 nurses, who were applied two instruments for data collection and thus measure the research variables. The results obtained were: 60.5% were between 20 and 35 years old; 92.6% were female, by area of work there is the Emergency with 61.7% and by time of service from 1 to 3 years with a percentage of 64.2%. In the Labor Climate, a favorable level was obtained with 46.9%. Regarding Burnout syndrome, a medium level was found with a percentage of 82.7%. According to the Chi Square statistical test, it gives us a p value less than 0.05 (p=0.0011); that is, there is a statistically significant relationship between the work environment and Burnout syndrome in nurses at the Trujillo Regional Teaching Hospital, 2022
