The main objective of this research was to determine the relationship between self-concept, social skills and academic performance in Math in students of the secondary level of a particular educational institution in Trujillo, the sample was made up of 164 students of secondary level, of both sexes, aged 11 to 17 years, who answered the questionnaire of Self-concept form A5 (AFA-5) and the Social Skills Scale (EHS), to assess the academic performance, the score obtained during the first months of Mathematics course study. The results show a direct, medium and statistically significant correlation (p <.05) between the Self-concept with the Social Skills; as well as a direct, medium-level and statistically significant correlation (p <.05) between Self-concept with Academic Performance and a direct, medium-level and statistically significant correlation (p <.05) between Social Skills with Academic Performance . In relation to the levels, a high level is seen in the Self-concept (89%) and in the Global Social Skills (82%), as well as an academic performance in progress (49%) in the secondary level students.
