The objective of this thesis entitled ““Implementation of the Last Planner and Carta Balance to optimize the productivity of a 5-story multifamily building in Trujillo““ was to use the realization of Carta Balance and the use of Last Planner when using them as tools to evaluate low productivity. in the items within the construction industry, measured in the multifamily building work, District of Trujillo, Province of Trujillo, Department of La Libertad”, These tools were measured daily for 8 weeks with Balance Sheet formats, where the activity carried out by each worker are classified by three types: Productive Work (TP), Contributory Work (TC) and Non-Contributory Work (TNC). The methodology will allow an in-depth field study before and after applying the corresponding improvement strategies to mitigate Non-Contributory Works found on site, through the Carta Balance tool, where the application of Last Planner allows standardizing the activities in a new real schedule. work, reducing cost and time. The Population analyzed is the Project in progress and the study sample is the following items: concrete, steel and footing formwork, concrete, steel and column formwork, concrete, steel and beam formwork, concrete, steel and lightened slab formwork, where the productivity was evaluated in percentage and it was possible to reduce a considerable percentage by applying these tools.
