The objective of this work is to carry out the design of an automated system for the ore crushing process in the storage and grinding area of the Marañón-CIA minera poder S.A. plant. In principle, the work describes the aspects of the research design and justification of the study, and then presents the theoretical bases that allow understanding the ore crushing process. After presenting the materials and procedures of the investigation, the problem of the ore crushing process is detailed and the results are shown by means of the flow chart. From the analysis of the information obtained, technical aspects are evaluated to propose the automation of the ore crushing process, through the SIEMENS S7 1200 programmable logic controller, the water and oil pressure sensors and the TIA software was used for programming. PORTAL v15 through the Ladder language, through thirteen programming segments. The type of research is applied and the design is pre experimental. Finally, through the proposal presented in the flowchart of figure 16, and the programming in TIA Portal v15, the time of the crushing process is improved, obtaining an efficiency of 92.5%.
