The research sought to determine the relationship that exists between the level of knowledge and quality of the registry. With a quantitative approach, non- experimental correlational cross-sectional design, applied in a sample of 30 nurses. The results showed that 57% of the nurses have a good level of knowledge while 43% have a regular level of knowledge, 100% of the nurses have a good quality of registration; Likewise, there is a strong and positive relationship between the variable level of knowledge and the structure dimension with a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.723 and a p-value lower than the level of significance (p = 0.00 < 0.05), there is a strong relationship and positive between the level of knowledge variable and the content dimension with a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.688 and a p-value lower than the level of significance (p = 0.00 < 0.05). In conclusion, there is a strong and positive relationship between the level of knowledge and the quality of registration with a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.797 and a p-value lower than the level of significance (p = 0.00 < 0.05)
