Determine the knowledge about post-extraction complications of impacted third molars in stomatology students of the Antenor Orrego Private University, in May 2022. Materials and methods: Observational, cross-sectional study that evaluated 169 students of stomatology study program between the seventh and tenth cycle. The evaluation instrument used was a virtual questionnaire of 20 closed questions, which obtained validity with a value of 0.98 in Aiken's V test and reliability with a value of 0.805 in Cronbach's Alpha coefficient. Results: It was determined that Knowledge was sufficient by 39.05%; 37.28% insufficient and 19.53% good. In the 7th, 8th, and 9th cycles, a sufficient level was evidenced in 39.10%, 43.24%, and 45%, respectively, and an insufficient level in the 10th cycle in 48.83% (p= 0.9094>0 .05). The male sex presented a sufficient level in 44.68% and the female sex an insufficient level in 42.62% (p= 0.02321<0.05). Conclusion: There is sufficient knowledge regarding post-extraction complications of third molars, being the 9th cycle and males with a higher level of knowledge.
