In this research we evaluate seismic vulnerability using the vulnerability index method applied in 3 strategically selected buildings in the Balnearies de Buenos Aires, Víctor Larco Herrera district, Trujillo province, La Libertad department, classified according to Standard E 0.30-2019; as a building of category ““C““, which without due study and professional construction, create deficiencies in their seismic behavior of the structures, thus reaching losses, both of lives and economic caused by telluric movements of great magnitude. Through this thesis we seek to determine the degree of seismic vulnerability by means of the Benedetti-Petrini qualitative method. Which, through its 11 classification parameters, were obtained as results for HOUSING 01, HOUSING 02 and HOUSING 03, with vulnerability indices (lv) of 156.25, 70 and 76.25, respectively, that by averaging them we resolved that, in the Balnearies de Buenos Aires, only through this method has a medium to low vulnerability. Likewise, a quantitative method was used, which dynamically analyzed a 3D model with rigid diaphragms of three degrees of freedom, this analysis was carried out in the ETABS computer program. In general, problems were found in the fulfillment of the mezzanoid drifts, being the most harmful for each building in the sense of the X axis. For VVIENDA 01, being of first floor we obtained an optimal drift of 0.005 that complies with the provisions of the standard, in HOUSING 02 and HOUSING03, we obtained critical drifts in the second floor of 0.0073, first floor of 0.0052, respectively, exceeding what is established by the standard, for this reason we determined that for the quantitative method there is a MEDIUM TO HIGH vulnerability
