Propiedades Psicométricas de la Escala de Procrastinación Académica (EPA) en estudiantes de secundaria en una Institución Educativa Estatal de Trujillo

Abstract

Dicho estudio tuvo como objetivo principal determinar las propiedades psicométricas de la Escala de Procrastinación académica (EPA) en estudiantes de secundaria en una Institución Educativa Estatal de Trujillo. Teniendo como objetivos específicos realizar el análisis estadístico mediante la correlación ítem-escala, asimismo, realizar el análisis estadístico mediante la correlación ítem-test, identificar las evidencias de validez de constructo, establecer los índices de confiabilidad por consistencia interna, elaborar normas percentilares y elaborar los puntos de corte de dicha escala. Es de tipo tecnológico, la muestra fue de 288 estudiantes varones y mujeres, edades dentro del tercer y quinto grado del nivel secundario. En cuanto a la validez se halló mediante el análisis factorial confirmatorio, constatando la medida de Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin alcanzó un valor de .875, determinándose idóneo. La confiabilidad se evidenció a través del Coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach teniendo como índice de confiabilidad alta del .850 para la escala total y de .863 y .698 para las dimensiones Autorregulación académica y Postergación de actividades. Finalmente, también se realizó baremos percentiles adecuadamente para ambas dimensiones

This research had as a general objective of determining the psychometric properties of the Academic Procrastination Scale (APS) in high school students in a state educational institution of Trujillo.
