The present research thesis arises as the objective of determining the state of conservation of the flexible pavement of Av. Antenor Orrego, section between Av. Jesús de Nazareth and Av. América Oeste in the city of Trujillo applying the PCI methodology. ““ In this way, it seeks to achieve the conservation in which the flexible pavement is located, generating a database for municipalities and regional governments, when it is required to provide maintenance corresponding to the roads affected by use. It began with the division of the road into 20 sections and 2 additional samples in both directions of the road, having a total of 4 additional samples, which were subjected to evaluation according to what is stipulated in the PCI manual. Subsequently, the sectioning of the track. A visual inspection was carried out studying the existing faults and those that were found with the highest percentage are 19F-Detachment of Aggregates with 3.6%, 11F-Patching with 2.3%, 13F-Gaps with 0.09% and other faults that individually did not exceed 5%. Obtaining a PCI of 57.89 that according to the range contemplated in the PCI Manual is in a GOOD state of conservation
