MATERIAL AND METHOD: An observational, applied study was carried out, with an analytical and cross sectional contrast technique, which evaluated 284 students from the School of Human Medicine of the Antenor Orrego Private University in the period 2021-2. The students anonymously completed 3 sociodemographic characteristics: age, sex and year of studies, prior to developing the questionnaire. After that, the test they solved evaluated 4 dimensions of virtual education: virtual learning resources, collaboration, accompaniment and skills. RESULTS: The results obtained showed that the resources of virtual learning, if they were associated with the sociodemographic factors age and years of studies; virtual accompaniment associated with age and years of studies; virtual collaboration associated with the year of study; and the acquired skills associated with sex and years of studies, all of these with P values <0.05. CONCLUSIONS: It was determined that the sociodemographic factors age and year of studies were associated with the perception of virtual education. It was identified that the perception of learning resources, support and skills acquired in virtual education were associated with age and year of studies, but not with gender.
