The present investigation was developed in the city of Trujillo - Peru, in which the influence of the additive Plastiment TM 31 and TM 12 on the cracking of ready-mix concrete during its setting process was analyzed. To do this, mix dosages were designed, with different percentages of additive and water cement ratio based on the mixture commonly used in the emptying of slabs and ceilings (f'c = 210 kg / cm2). The purpose of the study is to evaluate if the excess content of the additives or the cement produces the cracking of the ready-mix concrete. Different specimens were evaluated to study the cracking in ring type and rectangular panel molds, in addition the physical properties for each dosage were determined, both in its fresh and hardened state, in this way an optimal dosage for the addition of water reducing additives is suggested. and forge retardants, used in ready-mix concrete. The research is of experimental type, and had a statistical population of 60 samples, to evaluate the property of cracking. Regarding the results, it was observed that the concrete settlement increases with the addition of additives, besides the unit weight decreases slightly with the dosage of additives. Finally, it is possible to reduce the cracks by plastic contraction of the precast concrete in an effective way adding only up to 0.9% superplasticizing additive and 0.3% of retardant additive of forge, both for dosages with water cement ratio of 0.52, 0.57 and 0.62.
