Objective: To determine the level of knowledge about pediatric dentistry management in patients with Down syndrome in students of the Antenor Orrego Private University, Trujillo 2022. Materials and Methods: This study was observational, cross-sectional. 119 stomatology students from the 7th to the 10th cycle were evaluated, for which a face-to-face questionnaire previously validated by 8 experts with 20 closed questions was used, obtaining a Cronbach's Alpha reliability index of 0.8404, descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the results. results. Results: It was found that the level of knowledge about the management of pediatric dentistry in patients with Down syndrome in stomatology students was 68.07% insufficient, 26.89% sufficient, 4.20% good and 0.84% outstanding. The students of 7th grade obtained 73.33% insufficient and 26.67%, while those of 8th obtained 70.37% insufficient and 27.78% sufficient, those of 9th obtained 60.0% insufficient and 26.67% sufficient and finally, those of 10th obtained 60%. 0.0% insufficient and 25% sufficient. Men showed 57.14% insufficient and women 71.43% insufficient. Conclusion: The level of knowledge about pediatric dentistry management in patients with Down Syndrome of the stomatology students of the Antenor Orrego Private University, was insufficient with 68.07%, being the 7th and 8th cycle with the lowest level of knowledge.
