The main objective of the present study was to determine the effect of artificial curing of concrete by comparing the performance of three types of curing additives, for which ready-mixed concrete specimens were made using Pacasmayo Type I cement and aggregates from the natural quarry called Quebrada de León, located in Río Seco. In the district of Huanchaco, Trujillo. Which met the granulometric spindles of the NTP 400.012, with a moisture content of 1.12%, an average Adsorption percentage of 1.83%, specific weight of 2.44 g/cm3 , Loose Unit Weight of 1689.19 Kg /m3 and Compacted Unit Weight of 1929.6 Kg/m3 . Regarding ready-mix concrete of Type I cement; was characterized with a Unit Weight of fresh concrete of 2353 Kg/m3 , a slump of 4” to 6”, with a temperature of fresh concrete of 21 °C and with a w/c ratio of 0.58. Once the tests were carried out between the three artificial concrete curing additives and one of the standard sample, it was demonstrated in the statistical analysis that there is no significant difference between the means of the results of the Sikacemcurator and Membranil Additive, but between the Sikacemcurator and the Z White membrane; On the other hand, between Membranil and Z Membrana white, the difference in means is not significant either. However, these last two mentioned curative additives did not reach the required design resistance (f'c = 280 Kg /cm2 ) at 28 days, where the lowest value was obtained by the curator Z Membrana Blanco with a reduction of 4.64% (f'c = 267 Kg/cm2 ) of the required concrete design strength, followed by the Reinforced Membranil additive with a decrease of 2.14%. (f'c = 274 Kg /cm2 ) On the other hand, the use of Sikacemcurador additive for spray curing, provided the value of 287 Kg/cm2 , this shows that, although artificial curing additives affect by decreasing the degree and rate of cement hydration when compared to curing by immersion, the resistance obtained with artificial cures provides a great alternative to meet the required design resistance at 28 days
