To compare two rotary systems FKG Race and Mtwo in the formation of curved ducts. Methods: The study was experimental. Two endodontic systems were compared to work on the shaping of curved canals; an FKG Race® rotary system and the Mtwo® rotary system. The sample consisted of 40 root mesial roots with a curvature of 20 ° to 30 ° and was divided into two groups of 20 roots. The radius of initial curvature (RC1) and radius of final curvature (RC2) were evaluated. The analysis and data processing were carried out with the help of the Student's test, and the value of p <0.05. Results: The FKG Race system and the Mtwo system produced alterations in the curved canal. The results found showed a difference of their means in a minimum value for the Race® system. Conclusions: Both biomechanical preparation systems presented alterations in the curved canal, so it is suggested to continue in the search for new technologies that contribute to reducing this curvature.
