To evaluate the association of antituberculous treatment with combined fixed doses and the incidence of hepatic RAM in patients with sensitive pulmonary tuberculosis from 6 hospitals in the city of Trujillo treated during the years 2019 - 2021. Materials and methods: An observational, analytical, retrospective cohort study was carried out, which evaluated 263 patients diagnosed with sensitive pulmonary tuberculosis treated at Belén, Regional Teaching, Santa Isabel, El Esfuerzo, La Noria and Jerusalen hospitals in the city of Trujillo. The exposed cohort consisted of 79 patients who received combined fixed doses, while the unexposed cohort consisted of 184 patients who received individual doses. Data were obtained from the review of the patients' medical records, evaluating the association between the type of treatment received and the incidence of hepatic RAFA by calculating the relative risk (RR) and Pearson's Chi-Square test. Statistically significant associations were those in which the p value was <0.05. Results: The incidence of hepatic RAM among patients treated with DFC was 30.4%, while in the DI group it was 34.2%. The relative risk (RR) of hepatic RAFA in patients with susceptible pulmonary tuberculosis treated with fixed-dose combinations was 0.887 (95% CI: 0.601-1.310, p=0.542). No statistically significant association was established between the intervening variables (age, sex, malnutrition, diabetes mellitus and arterial hypertension) and the incidence of hepatic RAFA in the patients included in the study (p>0.05). Conclusion: It is stated that there is no statistically significant association between fixed-dose combination therapy in patients with susceptible pulmonary tuberculosis and the incidence of hepatic RAM. No association was established between the intervening variables and the incidence of hepatic RAM.
