In order to determine the factors associated with Burnout Syndrome in the COVID-19 context in surgical center personnel, a prospective, descriptive and cross-sectional investigation was carried out; in which the personnel of the surgical center of the High Complexity Hospital ““Virgen de la Puerta““ who worked between the months of October and November 2020 were interviewed. Each worker had to answer two questionnaires: one of them was the Maslach Burnout Inventory Questionnaire and the other included the possible factors associated with the burnout syndrome. To determine statistical significance, the Chi square test was used, setting the level of significance at P <0.05. It was found that the frequency of Burnout Syndrome among surgical center personnel in the COVID-19 context was 23.3%. Age was the only factor associated with Burnout Syndrome in the covid-19 context in surgical center personnel. The type of profession, time of exercise, type of family and family functionality were not factors associated with Burnout Syndrome in the context of COVID-19 in surgical center personnel
