Estilo de vida asociado a riesgo cardiovascular en profesores de Instituciones Educativas Adventistas de la provincia de Trujillo, 2022

Abstract

La presente investigación fue de tipo correlacional de corte transversal cuyo objetivo fue determinar la asociación entre el estilo de vida con el riesgo cardiovascular en profesores de Instituciones Educativas Adventistas de la provincia de Trujillo, 2022. La muestra estuvo conformada por 63 profesores de las 3 Instituciones Educativas Adventistas, a quienes se le aplicó dos instrumentos que fueron realizados mediante la técnica encuesta y entrevista. Los datos obtenidos fueron registrados en una base de datos de Excel y en la calculadora de riesgo cardiovascular “HEARTS en las Américas”, se elaboraron las tablas estadísticas, los resultados indican que en relación al estilo de vida los profesores de Instituciones Educativas Adventistas el 52.38% tienen un estilo de vida adecuado y el 47.62% un estilo de vida inadecuado. En cuanto al riesgo cardiovascular el 52.38% tiene un riesgo cardiovascular bajo, el 19.05% moderado y el 28.57% alto. Finalmente, los resultados muestran que existe asociación altamente significativa (p<0.000) entre el estilo de vida con el riesgo cardiovascular en profesores de Instituciones Educativas Adventistas de la provincia de Trujillo, 2022.

The present investigation was of a cross-sectional correlational type whose objective was to determine the association between lifestyle and cardiovascular risk in teachers of Adventist Educational Institutions in the province of Trujillo, 2022. The sample consisted of 63 teachers from the 3 Institutions Educational Adventists, to whom two instruments were applied that were carried out through the survey and interview technique. The data obtained were recorded in an Excel database and in the cardiovascular risk calculator ““HEARTS in the Americas““, the statistical tables were elaborated, the results indicate that in relation to the lifestyle of the teachers of Adventist Educational Institutions 52.38 % have an adequate lifestyle and 47.62% an inadequate lifestyle. Regarding cardiovascular risk, 52.38% have a low cardiovascular risk, 19.05% moderate and 28.57% high. Finally, the results show that there is a highly significant association (p<0.000) between lifestyle and cardiovascular risk in teachers of Adventist Educational Institutions in the province of Trujillo, 2022.
