In the present investigation that has as title ““STABILIZATION OF THE SLOPE IN THE SECTION LOMA LARGA - CANCHAQUE OF THE IRSA NORTH ROAD IN THE PROVINCE OF HUANCABAMBA, 2021”, it is observed that on the slope there are landslides of rocky sediments that harm the passability of vehicles and pedestrians; which is the main and only road that connects with the city of Canchaque; Likewise, activities such as topographic studies, soil mechanics studies, maximum precipitation, environmental impact were carried out, and the design of the slope for said area was determined, thus determining the best solution. The main objective of this thesis is to stabilize the slope in the Loma Larga section, for which the activities mentioned above were carried out. In the investigation, the following procedures of the scientific research method were carried out, which begins in the identification of the study area in which the dependent variable ““slope stabilization““ and independent ““topographic study, environmental impact study and geometric design are differentiated. ”. Also, we use Bishop's method in Geo5 software to determine the factor of safety. Likewise, the following studies were carried out to determine what type of geogrid we will use in order to avoid landslides of said slope and we found the safety factor in which it did not comply with the established one.
