The objective of this work is to measure the establishment time of the PID and Diffuse controllers in a level control. Initially, the work describes the aspects of the research design and justification of the study, and then presents the theoretical bases of the PID and Diffuse controllers, which allows understanding the measurement of the establishment time and then comparing them. After presenting the research materials and procedures, the tank filling process is configured in Factory IO and is carried out in conjunction with the S7-1200 controller model CPU 1214C AC/DC/RLY through the TIA Portal programming software. . From the analysis of the information obtained, the tuning of the PID and Diffuse controller is carried out in a tank level control, and the time it takes for the process variable to stabilize for different levels is taken. • Finally, a statistical analysis was carried out to determine which of the controllers has the best establishment time, where it is observed that the best establishment time occurs with the fuzzy controller
