The purpose of this research was to determine the epidemiological and obstetric characteristics of hydatidiform mole during the years 2005-2019. Trujillo Regional Teaching Hospital, for which an observational study with a simple descriptive design was carried out, in a sample of 172 medical records. It was found that 0.3% of the patients cared for in the obstetrics-gynecology department. record the diagnosis of hydatidiform mole; the epidemiological characteristics of the cases are: age between 20 and 29 years old, 42.4%, cohabiting marital status, 70.4.3%, secondary education grade, 52.3%, and the place of origin of the patients was urban with 86.6%. The obstetric characteristics of the cases are: 67.4% non-nulliparous, 61% gestational age between one and twelve weeks, 69.2% without a history of abortion, and 54.1% using a contraceptive method after molar pregnancy.
