The current research aimed to carry out the structural design of pavements for the northern bypass road, from Puente Grande to Jr. Bolívar block 14, in Huamachuco, La Libertad - 2022. Methodologically, it was an applied study, with a descriptive level and a non-experimental design. The study universe consisted of a 2.04-kilometer stretch of road from Puente Grande to Jr. Bolívar block 14, Huamachuco. The techniques of gathering and processing information included direct observation, documentary analysis, and laboratory tests. It was concluded that the structural designs of the pavements were conducted using the AASHTO 93 method and are defined as follows: the flexible pavement consists of an 8 cm thick asphalt layer, a 20 cm granular base, and a 15cm granular subbase; the articulated pavement consists of 8 cm thick concrete pavers, a 4 cm sand layer, a 20 cm granular base, and a 15 cm subbase; finally, the rigid pavement consists of an 18 cm thick concrete slab and a 15 cm thick granular subbase.
