(RPc: 1.1,

disfunción sexual en pacientes climatéricas
To demonstrate whether personal, psychological and social factors are factors associated with sexual dysfunction in climacteric women at El Esfuerzo District Hospital - MINSA, Florencia de Mora, Trujillo from December 2019 to May 2022. Material and method: An observational, cross-sectional and analytical study was carried out, which evaluated 126 female patients, between 45 and 59 years of age from the gynecology service. The Gynecology service office was attended, where each patient between 45 and 59 years old was given a survey that included: General data, the female sexual function index survey and the HDAS scale. With the complete data, the analysis was carried out. If p ≤0.05, the results were considered significant and, since it was a cross-sectional study, the prevalence ratio was obtained. Results: It was found that 42.1% of climacteric patients presented sexual dysfunction. Patients with chronic disease had a 1.43 times higher risk of sexual dysfunction (PRc: 1.4, 95% CI: 1.017-2.012, p=0.04). Patients with a perception of ill health had a 1.4-fold higher risk of sexual dysfunction (PRc: 1.4, 95% CI: 1.01-2.01, p=0.04). Patients with secondary education had a 2.5 times higher risk of sexual dysfunction (PRc: 2.5, CI95%: 1.8-3.5, p<0.001). Employed patients have a higher risk of presenting sexual dysfunction compared to housewives. (PRc: 1.1, CI95%: 1.09-1.30, p<0.001) Conclusion: Personal, psychological and social factors are associated with sexual dysfunction in climacteric patients.
