The drinking water system of the town of Calemar, jurisdiction of the Bambamarca district, Bolívar province, La Libertad department; It has a spring-type catchment, whose capacity is 0.50 l / s, this being a problem because the flow does not satisfy the demand of the current population. The average population density at the district, provincial and departmental level is 3.02 inhabitants / living, the number of connections is 186 und, resulting in a current population of 553 inhabitants and that in a period of 20 years the design population is 723 inhabitants. The locality corresponds to the sierra region, whose endowment is considered 80 liters / inhab / day. In the design parameters, the flow calculation was performed, which resulted in a design flow of 1.49 lt / s. The general approach of the project includes changing the existing spring-type catchment for supplying the water supply from the Marañón River to the Calemar town. The proposed catchment is superficial and is located at a lower elevation CT: 1,090 meters above sea level than the CT reservoir: 1,265 meters above sea level:, that is why the system was designed through pumping, it begins with a boom-type catchment without bypass (located at the bank of the Marañón river) the same one that enters the water supply to a desander, then passes to the treatment plant (Sedimentator, Prefilter and Filtering), the treated water is led to a 20 m3 buried cistern, everything is done by gravity up to this point, later the pumping system starts from the buried cistern to the supported reservoir of 15 m3, located in the highest part of the town of Calemar. The impulsion line has a length of 1,060 m with a diameter of 1 ½” of HDPE pipe, the adduction line is divided into 2 sections: for the West and East zone of the Calemar Locality, the distribution network extends with a length of 6.025.86m, in PVC-U pipe NTP ISO 1452 DN 63MM PN 10 BAR (S10; SDR 21) and PIPE PVC-U NTP ISO 399.002 DN 1 1/2 ““, 1” and 3/4 ”PN 10 BAR (CLASS 10). In addition, it includes 186 household connections with PVC-U PIPE NTP ISO 399.002 DN 1/2 ““PN 10 BAR (CLASS 10)
