preescolar. (p=0.031).
To determine the relationship between the content of the preschool lunch box as a predisposing factor of dental caries in the students of the I.E San Pedro. Materials and method: The study is cross-sectional and observational, It was carried out in the I.E San Pedro, as a population to be studied, 136 students belonging to the educational center were evaluated. using a non-probabilistic method. The Makeup test and the CDOD test were awarded. Results: The present study showed the influence of a preschool lunch box content with regular level according to the acidogenicity characteristic of food in the sample with 57.3% (78 children), with the presence of dental caries in 64.2% (87 children) and the negative of dental caries in 37.8% (36).Therefore, the primary observation of the assessment of the food content in the school lunch box in children was of regular level 57.3% (52), with a greater tendency in children aged 11 years and older (26.8%) followed by children aged 9-10 years (15.19%). Conclusions: The content of the preschool lunch box influences as a predisposing factor in the variable of dental caries as a direct relationship not only significant but also statistical with the content of the preschool lunch box. (p=0.031)
