The purpose of this research is to increase the productivity of the ice factory HIELNORV S.A.C. through a study of methods and times that goes from the detection of overtime to the implementation of a new form of time control. To achieve this, the following problem was considered: To what extent will the study of times and movements improve productivity at the Hielnorv S.A.C. And the hypothesis was the implementation of the proposal to improve the freezing process, by applying times and movements in the Hielnorv S.A.C ice factory, which will increase the productivity of the process's labor force. Tools such as observation, brainstorming, Westinghouse method, root cause analysis, among others, were used that allowed us to determine the deficiencies in the process. The results of the present investigation allow us to visualize an increase in productivity of 0.0153014 TN / S /. at 0.02331 TN / S /. per day in the morning shift and 0.0141833 TN / S /. at 0.02226 TN / S /., therefore, this shows that productivity increased by 0.0080086 TN / S /. per day in the morning shift and in a 0.2084167 TN / S /. per day on the night shift.
