Determine the level of knowledge about tongue tie in students of the Professional School of Stomatology of the UPAO, Trujillo 2020. Materials and methods: The present descriptive, prospective and crosssectional study evaluated a sample of 160 students using a virtual questionnaire developed in the Google Forms Platform, validated by an expert judgment, obtaining an acceptable value of 0.833 (Aiken's v test) and a reliability of 0.788 (Cronbach's alpha coefficient). Results: The results of the study show that 58.7% of students have a deficient level of knowledge, 36.9% fair and 4.4% good. The level of knowledge according to gender, it was observed that both the female and male gender had a predominance of a deficient level with 55.6% and 65.4% respectively. The level of knowledge according to the study cycle, in the sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth cycle groups a predominance of the deficient level is observed with 72.9%, 62.5%, 51.9% and 48% respectively. While those of 10th presented a predominance of the regular level with 50%. Conclusions: It is concluded that the level of knowledge of the students of Stomatology is deficient. The male gender presented a higher percentage of deficient level of knowledge. Only the 10th cycle students presented a regular level of knowledge
