Nivel de conocimiento sobre anquiloglosia en estudiantes de la escuela profesional de estomatología de la UPAO Trujillo 2020

Abstract

Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre anquiloglosia en estudiantes de la Escuela Profesional de Estomatología de la UPAO, Trujillo 2020. Material y método: El presente estudio descriptivo, prospectivo y de corte transversal evaluó una muestra de 160 alumnos utilizando un cuestionario virtual desarrollado en la Plataforma de Google Forms, validado por un juicio de expertos obteniendo un valor aceptable de 0.833 (test v de Aiken) y una confiabilidad de 0.788 (coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach). Resultados: Los resultados del estudio muestran que el 58.7 de alumnos tienen un nivel de conocimiento deficiente, el 36.9% regular y el 4.4% bueno. El nivel de conocimiento según el género se observó que tanto el género femenino como masculino hubo un predominio de nivel deficiente con un 55.6% y 65.4% respectivamente. El nivel de conocimiento según el ciclo de estudios, en el grupo de sexto ciclo, séptimo, octavo y noveno se observa un predominio del nivel deficiente con un 72.9%, 62.5%, 51.9% y 48% respectivamente. Mientras que los de 10mo presentaron un predominio del nivel regular con un 50%. Conclusiones: Se concluye que el nivel de conocimiento de los alumnos de Estomatología es deficiente. El género masculino presentó mayor porcentaje de nivel de conocimiento deficiente. Sólo los alumnos de 10mo ciclo presentaron un nivel de conocimiento regular.

Determine the level of knowledge about tongue tie in students of the Professional School of Stomatology of the UPAO, Trujillo 2020. Materials and methods: The present descriptive, prospective and crosssectional study evaluated a sample of 160 students using a virtual questionnaire developed in the Google Forms Platform, validated by an expert judgment, obtaining an acceptable value of 0.833 (Aiken's v test) and a reliability of 0.788 (Cronbach's alpha coefficient). Results: The results of the study show that 58.7% of students have a deficient level of knowledge, 36.9% fair and 4.4% good. The level of knowledge according to gender, it was observed that both the female and male gender had a predominance of a deficient level with 55.6% and 65.4% respectively. The level of knowledge according to the study cycle, in the sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth cycle groups a predominance of the deficient level is observed with 72.9%, 62.5%, 51.9% and 48% respectively. While those of 10th presented a predominance of the regular level with 50%. Conclusions: It is concluded that the level of knowledge of the students of Stomatology is deficient. The male gender presented a higher percentage of deficient level of knowledge. Only the 10th cycle students presented a regular level of knowledge
