The present research thesis developed a structural design of a flexible pavement to better serve the alternating route of the district of Castilla, province of Piura, through an application and at the same time descriptive research, which was developed with a sample of 10 km of the road. The main objective was to carry out the structural design of the flexible pavement, using the most detailed and analytical methodology due to the diversity of parameters it denotes, such as the AASHTO-93 method and at the same time the bases and guideline mentioned in the Roads Manual were followed: Soils, Geology, Geotechnics and Pavements-Section of Floors and Pavements-MTC/14. In order to improve passability, vehicle safety and also opt for a more comfortable quality of life. Basic engineering studies were carried out: such as the traffic analysis study, with which it was obtained that the number of repetitions of equivalent axes of 8.2 tn for the flexible pavement is 75,774.76. Likewise, soil mechanics studies were carried out for paving purposes, obtaining soils which is of the type a silt sane and clay sand with a slight or low plasticity, according to the AASHTON classification. whose results were a critical CBR of 5.2% with 95% of 0.1““ penetration. Where to be designed, a stabilization by replacing the soil to the sub-subsant was used, thus obtaining an improved CBR of 18.2%, which is suitable for paving in order to obtain an adequate or good sub-sub-sant. Finally, concluding as a final result that the design of the flexible pavement defined in this investigation was determined for a period of 20 years of useful life, in addition the thicknesses required for each layer of the pavement correspond to 2.15 cm for the asphalt folder, 30 cm for the base and 0.00 cm for the subbase
