The present research work to opt for the professional title of Industrial Engineer, aims to increase the Productivity of the Orange Huando Miel packaged Operation in the company El Huerto de Don Lucho S.A.C. of the City of Trujillo, applying the design of the method (bimanual diagram) and of the work station (checklist). In the first instance, the current situation of the operator's work station was evaluated by controlling the operating time and it was found that there was a bottleneck in the packed Operation where it was decided to work. The Bimanual Diagram indicated that the left hand of the operator with the most representative work method was idle for 2.5 seconds performing the AD therblig or Avoidable Delay, while the right hand worked the entire cycle. This is due to the fact that according to the physical design that existed, the fruits were placed on the right side of the operator, which meant a greater advantage in the movement of the right hand; in addition to that some of the principles of the physical design of the fixed workstation were not fulfilled. According to the current analysis, the productivity of the work station is 225 Huando Miel oranges packed in one hour, knowing that 4 people work in said company, but only one operator in the packed operation. A new working method was proposed based on a new physical design of the work station, in which both hands of the operator were at work and performed the same packaging task. It is concluded that the impact of the improvements made has decreased its cycle time by 3.95 seconds, registering at present 16 seconds and at the proposed 12.05 seconds, achieving an increase in productivity in 74 packed oranges per man-hour plus.
