OBJECTIVE: To determine the maternal and perinatal complications of dengue in the hospital II, De la amistad Perú Corea Santa Rosa, 2016- 2018. MATERIALS AND METHOD: An observational, analytical, cross-sectional, retrospective study was carried out. The population consisted of all pregnant women and neonates with dengue who presented maternal and perinatal complications in Hospital II, de la amistad Perú - Corea Santa Rosa, 2016- 2018. It corresponds to approximately 300 patients between pregnant women and neonates attended from Monday to Sunday in the specialty of Gynecology - Obstetrics and Pediatrics. The sample size was 43 clinical histories between pregnant and neonates treated in the Hospital II of the friendship Peru Corea Santa Rosa, between 2016 - 2018. An analysis was performed using SPSS Statistics V 23, the variables were associated and Chi2 was used with a confidence interval of 95%. RESULT: 14.3% of pregnant women with dengue attended in hospital II de la amistad Perú Corea Santa Rosa, 2016- 2018 presented perinatal complications, 23.3% of the neonates were premature; presented as fetal distress: premature birth 23.3%; Apgar 4 - 6 4.6% and respiratory apnea 2.3%. 41.5% of the neonates had weights less than 2500g; the congenital defect that was presented was a neonate with cleft lip that represents 2.3% and only 2.3% of neonates presented intrauterine growth restriction;14.3% of the pregnant women whose neonates presented complications with dengue had a vaginal delivery type and the ages of the pregnant women with dengue that presented neonates with complications is the group of 26 - 35 years with 7.3%. CONCLUSIONS: The presence of dengue in pregnant women and neonates treated in hospital II de la amistad Perú Corea Santa Rosa, 2016- 2018, of which 14.3% of pregnant women presented perinatal complications.
