Due to the current lack of knowledge about the budgetary difference between the structural design in concrete and steel, this academic degree has sought to make a comparative Budget analysis between the Designs in reinforced concrete and stell of the Educational Institution N82629 of Totorillas Hamlet, Guzmango District – Contumaza – Cajamarca as a social contribution. The basic project is an Educational Institution located in the Totorillas Hamlet in the department of Cajamarca with an approximately area of 4046.72 m2 which will be developed from the architectural project already carried out, this one has the levels of Inicial, Primary and Secondary. For a better analysis it has been timely to divide the project into ten blocks, three blocks into initial, four in primary and three in secondary. Fort the reinforced concrete, we start with a pre-dimensioning of columns, beams, slabs, among others; followed by an analysis through the SAP2000 program, the structural elements were designed and metered with programs such as EXCEL 2016 and MATHCAD PRIME With regard to the standards, we will guide of the design philosophy of Peruvian Technical Standard E-060 of Reinforced Concrete Design, for the Resistant Sims Analysis we will use the Peruvian Technical Standard E-030 as a guide. For Steel, we use the same structure and programs as in Reinforced Concrete were used. However, in some standards there were variations. We worked with the structural design philosophy in steel proposed by the Peruvian Technical Standard E-090 using the ASD and LRFD methods of steel design, this was supplemented with American Standard ANSI/AISC 360-10. For the Resilient Sims Analysis, work was done with the same standard as in Reinforced Concrete, E-0.30. For the budget calculation of both designs, the National Building Standard were used to observe all the necessary items in their development and at the same time, this was done in the S10 COSTS AND BUDGETS program
