To demonstrate the association between COVID 19 infection and obsessive-compulsive disorder in students of the Antenor Orrego Private University. Material and methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out in which 330 university students were included according to selection criteria, which were separated into two different groups: participants with or without COVID-19 infection; The prevalence ratio and the chi square test were calculated. Results: There were no significant differences regarding the variables age group, sex, origin, marital status, professional school, history of COVID 19 or family risk for COVID 19 among the patients of one group or another. study (p> 0.05). The frequency of obsessive-compulsive disorder in college students with COVID 19 infection was 19/74 = 26%. The frequency of obsessive-compulsive disorder in college students without COVID 19 infection was 33/256 = 12%. There is an association between COVID 19 infection and obsessive-compulsive disorder in college students with a prevalence ratio of 2.16 (p <0.05). Conclusions: There is an association between COVID 19 infection and obsessivecompulsive disorder in students of the Antenor Orrego Private University.
