In the thesis, the linear seismic analysis and structural design of a 10-story reinforced concrete multi-family home was developed, located in the Soliluz Urbanization, district of Trujillo, Province of Trujillo, Department of La Libertad. The building land has an area of 420 m2, it is located in an area where there is no water table, it has an admissible capacity of 5.13 kg/cm2 and a ballast coefficient of 6.5 kg/cm3. The structuring and pre-sizing of the structural elements was carried out based on the architecture, where 60x50 cm columns and plates were proposed at the 4 ends of the building, in order to control lateral displacements and torsion effects, in addition Lightened slabs 20cm thick and solid slabs in irregular panels were proposed. The modeling, static and dynamic seismic analysis were carried out through the use of the Etabs program and according to the E.020 load standard, E.030 earthquake-resistant design, E.060 reinforced concrete, where the irregularities of the structure, the modes of vibration from which a fundamental period of 0.667 seconds was obtained, in addition to obtaining a maximum drift (distortion) of 0.002045 in the X-X direction and 0.006811 in the Y-Y direction. In addition, verification of the structural system was carried out, which resulted in the building belonging to a structural system of structural walls. The analysis and design of the structural elements such as: Lightened slab, Solid slab, Beams, Columns, Structural walls, Foundation plate, Foundation beams, was carried out according to the E.060 reinforced concrete standard, through the use of the Etabs program. Safe and using Excel spreadsheets. Finally, the conclusions of the structural design of the building and recommendations for future thesis students who want to venture into the structural branch were indicated
