Impacto del salario mínimo real en el empleo en el Perú durante el periodo 2000 - 2018

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene por finalidad analizar el impacto del salario mínimo real en el empleo del Perú durante el periodo 2000-2018, para ello se analizaron las variables correspondientes de manera individual las cuales fueron: recopilación de información correspondiente al empleo y remuneración mínima vital de fuente del Ministerio del Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo y del Banco Central de Reserva del Perú, de las cuales las dos variables fueron: de periodicidad mensual, también se utilizó el método de regresión lineal lo cual pudimos analizar más afondo la semejanza de las variables, logrando con esto poder tener una mayor significancia en las variables estudiadas llegando a la conclusión de que la remuneración mínima real ha tenido una influencia ligeramente positiva con respecto al empleo en el Perú, por lo que podemos decir que esto es ocasionado por que la remuneración mínima real estuvo por debajo del salario de equilibrio en el mercado laboral, y a su vez también al incremento de la productividad de la economía peruana básicamente por un crecimiento económico en el periodo estudiado.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of the real minimum wage on employment in Peru during the period 2000-2018, for them the corresponding variables were analyzed individually which were: compilation of information corresponding to employment and minimum vital remuneration from the source of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion and the Central Reserve Bank of Peru, of which the two variables were monthly, the linear regression method was also used, which we could further analyze the similarity of the variables, achieving with this to be able to have a greater significance in the variables studied, concluding that the real minimum wage has had a slightly positive influence with respect to employment in Peru, so we can say that this is caused by the fact that the minimum wage real was below the equilibrium wage in the labor market, and in turn also at Increased productivity of the Peruvian economy basically due to economic growth in the period studied.
