The purpose of the following research is to corroborate the existence of a correlation between work stress and work environment. We worked with a population of 90 operational collaborators who belonged to a hydrobiological distributor in Piura. The instruments used were the ILO-WHO work stress scale, version adapted by Angela Suarez in Lima-Peru (2013) and the CL-SPC work environment scale validated and supported by Sonia Palma in Lima-Peru (2004). When analyzing the results Using the Spearman correlation coefficient, a score of -.375** and its bilateral significance of 000 was obtained, concluding that there is an inverse correlation between the 2 variables evaluated, which means that when work stress increases, the work environment will decrease and of a way contrary.
