To determine if Death anxiety is a factor associated with Burnout syndrome in police officers in a police complex during Covid-19 between October and November 2020. 6 Material and methods: A cross-sectional analytical study was carried out in which 153 police officers were included, of which only 131 entered the study and 22 were excluded, applying the Templer Death anxiety scale and the Maslach Burnout Inventory in person. Results: The information from 131 police officers was analyzed. For the dimension of emotional exhaustion, it was found that 58.3% of the police officers with a severe level of death anxiety had low emotional exhaustion, 16.7% had medium emotional exhaustion and 25.0% had high emotional exhaustion. 0% high emotional exhaustion; for the dimension of depersonalization, it was found that police officers with a severe level of death anxiety, 16.7% have low depersonalization, 50.0% have medium depersonalization and 33.3% have high depersonalization, and for the dimension of personal fulfilment, those police officers with a severe level of death anxiety, 58.3% have low personal fulfilment, 25.0% have medium personal fulfilment and 16.7% have high personal fulfilment. Conclusion: As death anxiety levels increase, the presence of burnout syndrome will increase, and as death anxiety levels decrease, the presence of burnout syndrome will decrease in a police complex in Trujillo between October and November 2020.
