A Quantitative, descriptive-correlational and cross-sectional study, whose objective was to determine the relationship between psychosocial factors at work and the job satisfaction of the nurse in the emergency service of the Pacasmayo Hospital,Pacasmayo 2019. The sample was made up by twenty nurses to whom two instruments were applied for data collection: the DECORE multidimensional Questionnaire, prepared by Luceño and Martin, en 2018 and the Job Satisfaction Questionnaire, prepared by Melia and Peiró, en 1998, both instruments modified by the authors for the present investigation. The results showed that the nurses perceive the psychosocial factors mostly of a healthy level: work demands (40%), organizational support (65%), control (35%) and rewards (45%); Regarding the level of job satisfaction, 45% are satisfied, 30% indifferent and 25% dissatisfied. When applying Kendall’s Tau-c test, a correlation coefficient of 0.825 was found, with a significance level of p=0.000, which indicates that there is a direct and highly significant relationship between the study variables (p<0.01).
