Of the study was to compare the variations of vital signs in dental procedures in patients treated at the Dental Service of the hospital I Luis Albrecht – 2018. MATERIAL AND METHOD: The study was prospective, longitudinal and pre-experimental. The population was made up of 109 patients who attended the dental service. The evaluation of the vital sings was carried out twice, the first measurement was taken with the patient reclining in the dental chair before the dental procedure, and the second immediately after the procedure. RESULTS: It was shown that there is a difference in the variation of systolic blood pressure between the groups, evidencing an increase in dental restoration, while in dental surgery the values decreased (G2 = 3.35, G1 = -0.95). Regarding the heart rate, no statistically significant difference was found between the groups (p = 0.07316). In oxygen saturation, significant differences were found between the groups (p = 0.0247), which shows higher values in dental restoration and prevention, unlike dental surgery. Regarding the variation of blood pressure before and after the procedure, a significant difference was found only in restoration procedures and prevention (p <0.01). CONCLUSION: There is variation in blood pressure and oxygen saturation between dental procedures, being higher in dental restorations, and lower in dental surgery.
