To determine and analyze the sociodemographic factors and knowledge that influence the acceptance of vaccination against the human papilloma virus in the parents of the Segundo Cabrera Muñoz-Cajamarca school. Materials and method: The type of study used was observational, cross-sectional, analytical, which included 210 parents of female students from the 4th grade of the primary level to the 2nd grade of the secondary level of the year 2021 of the Educational Institution Second Cabrera Muñoz-Cajamarca. For which, the virtual survey was carried out where the sociodemographic factors and the level of knowledge against HPV were studied; For the latter, a questionnaire validated by TAFUR, 2013 was applied, where the score is divided into low, medium, and high. The SPSS 25.0 package was used to perform the statistical analysis, in order to present the results obtained, in graphs and double entry tables that were carried out in the Excel Windows 10 program. Results: A statistically significant relationship was found with the following sociodemographic factors such as age (p = 0.005), origin (p = 0.001), educational level (p = 0.025), and parental occupation (p = 0.008), with the acceptance of vaccination. However, sociodemographic factors such as sex (p = 0.245) and marital status (p = 0.304) are not related to the acceptance of vaccination against the human papillomavirus. Regarding the level of knowledge about the HPV vaccine (p = 0.001), it was observed that parents with high and medium knowledge accepted vaccination for their girls. 86.2% of the parents accepted the vaccination in their minor daughters. Conclusions: Sociodemographic factors such as age, origin, educational level, and especially the level of knowledge about the HPV vaccine are important factors for the acceptance of the vaccine. So as physicians our role is to educate and promote knowledge about HPV vaccination, in order to achieve better acceptance
