This thesis was developed on Av. Dean Saavedra of the El Milagro Population Center - Huanchaco - Trujillo. The main objective of this research was to carry out the structural design of the rigid pavement following the guidelines of the AASHTO 93 methodology to improve the walkability of the town. In this project, the design of the rigid pavement was developed through the AASHTO 93 methodology and following the basic guidelines of the Geology and Geotechnics Manual provided by the MTC. In addition, all the necessary factors were found to calculate the thickness of the rigid pavement. such as: the calculation of the CBR, the traffic study, among other factors regulated in the methodology, in addition, a preliminary project and a project budget with updated costs were proposed. For the traffic study, a vehicle count was carried out in the area in which the project traffic volume was found and with this power to calculate the total number of equivalent axles, which in this case gave us a value of 2,517,846.68; In addition, soil mechanics studies were carried out on 11 samples obtained in the field, which gave us a CBR value of 32.99% for the most unfavorable sample. These are the most important parameters in the design of the rigid pavement layers. In addition, a project budget was prepared in which all the grading produced by earthworks was taken into account and 2 layers of pavement were considered, one of compacted granular material of 15 cm and another of concrete f'c = 210 kg/ cm2 of 20 cm; giving us a budget of S/. 30'728834.45.
