The objective of this study was to determine if age and sex influence the position of the dental roots of the anterior sector using Panoramic Radiographs and Cone Beam Tomographies in patients aged 10 to 21 years at the ““Continental Orthodontics Dental Clinic““ - Lima. The objective of this study was to determine if age and sex influence the position of the dental roots of the anterior sector using Panoramic Radiographs and Cone Beam Tomographies in patients aged 10 to 21 years at the ““Continental Orthodontics Dental Clinic““ - Lima. The population consisted of all the panoramic radiographs and tomography of patients between 10 and 21 years of age who attended the ““Continental Orthodontics Dental Clinic““, the sample was 100 Cone Beam Tomographies and Panoramic X-rays of the same people. The type of study was observational, analytical and comparative, the database was reviewed where the observations of the panoramic radiographs and tomography were recorded through the computer screen, using the Hamasha Technique as an instrument. For the statistical analysis, the Inferential Student's T statistic was used for comparison of groups and statistical significance of p<0.05; using the SPSS version 23 program. It was obtained by results that there is no influence of age and sex on the position of the dental roots of the anterior sector both in panoramic radiographs and in cone beam tomography. However, in panoramic radiographs, the most prevalent root position was straight, while in cone beam tomography, the most prevalent root position was mesial.
