The main objective of this thesis was to Design a system of Geocells for the stabilization of the slope of an approximate extension of 1 + 071.00 km that is located with respect to the north, on the right side of the 1 ° de Mayo channel, in the Barrio 1 ° de Mayo, of the district of Máncora belonging to the Province of Talara of the Department of Piura. The Geocells system was proposed in order to balance and support the forces dynamic and static soil without damaging the surface to avoid failures in the slope, given that due to the heavy rainfall in the summer months, the most common failure in the area is landslides, which can reach high speeds, giving rise to the known flows causing loss of human life and property. The soil mechanics study was carried out in order to identify the mechanical and physical properties of the soil, a topographic survey of the area was also carried out using a Leica TS06 Plus Total Station, and the geotechnical characteristics of the soil were obtained through field work. and tests, therefore the dimensions of the different slopes of the study area were defined in order to be able to analyze the Safety Factor by means of the Bishop method in the GEO 5 Software in its natural state and with the geocell system as reinforcement, thus concluding that when analyzed have similar results.
