This thesis addresses the problem of proposing an automation mechanism for relevance in higher education, since currently said relevance is very important and even more so since it refers to the congruence between the new educational offer and demand. labor. For its development, the scientific research methodology has been used, based on research at a propositional level. Among the most important results we can mention the definition of the sequence of the relevance study, the cycle of relevance, as well as the characteristics of the educational offer and labor demand, as well as the modeling and validation of a design proposal for an agent. intelligent that automates this relevance. Regarding the conclusions of the research, we can highlight that the diagnosis of relevance of the study programs according to the reality of the province of Sechura, corroborates that the relevance is adequate since the correlation between academic offer and labor demand is almost total, in addition that the modeling of the design of an intelligent agent has started with a general design scheme, as well as the processing agent scheme and the analysis agent scheme and user agent scheme, in addition to three levels of diagram flow (context, level 0 and level 1), concluding with a proposal methodology and culminating with the modeling of the DB
