The present research sought to determine the relationship between the level of stress in nurses and the degree of humanized care perceived by the family caregiver in the medical services of Hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2021. The study was of a cross-sectional correlational type with a non-experimental design; the sample consisted of 30 nurses and family caregivers who met the selection criteria. For data collection, the survey was used as a technique and two questionnaires were applied as an instrument, one to assess the level of stress in nurses and the other to assess the degree of humanized care perceived by the family caregiver, with Cronbach's Alpha of 0.837 and 0.835 respectively. The results obtained were that the distribution of nurses according to stress level was medium 73% and low 27%; regarding high level, none were registered; in turn, no significant differences were estimated for the variables age group, marital status, time working and work condition between nurses with medium and low levels of stress (p>0.05). On the other hand, the distribution of nurses according to the degree of humanized care was 10% high, 73% medium, and 17% low. It was found that there is a relationship between the level of stress in nurses and the degree of humanized care perceived by the family caregiver, with an Odds ratio of 7 (95% CI: 1.8 - 12.4) and a Pearson's Chi-square of 9.2 with p- value of 0.034, which was significant (p<0.05).
