This research work was developed due to the problem presented by the drinking water and sewerage system of the Nazareno annex of the Magdalena de Cao District, which was installed more than 20 years ago, noticing deterioration in the infrastructure of the pipes, which present leaks and low water flow, it does not have a treatment plant. Added to this is the population growth in recent years, so the current distribution network flow is insufficient to permanently supply the population and wastewater is discharged into canals causing local contamination. In developing the system design, information was collected on-site, complementing it with data provided by the Magdalena de Cao District Municipality. Population studies were carried out, determining a beneficiary population of 576 inhabitants who occupy 144 homes, for a design period of 20 years, thus obtaining the consumption required by the population for the year 2037. By topographic studies it was determined that the Nazareno annex of the Magdalena de Cao District is located at an average elevation of 16 meters above sea level, presenting a flat topography. For the water supply, a well with a depth of H = 12 m was projected considering the OS.010 standard to ensure the maximum daily flow, which should yield 2.00 l / s., The power of the pump is 3.3 kW to pump water during 8 hours with a 3 ”discharge diameter and a pipe length of 103.45 ml., The volume of the reservoir is V = 30 m The design of the water supply system has been carried out, with design flows of Qmd = 1.3 l / s and Qmh = 2 l / s, applying the WaterCAD V8 Software, throughviii which the distribution system that hydraulically complies with the parameters established in the National Building Regulations for this type of project. For the sewer system, it was carried out through the SewerCad program, considering the location of the streets and design of the wastewater treatment plant, considering a contribution flow to the drain is 1.60 l / s, it was determined according to the distribution of the streets 34 mailboxes with 35 sections of pipeline, with heights of the first mailbox of 10.50 meters above sea level to the height of the last mailbox of 8.90 meters above sea level, and with slopes that exceed the minimum slope. The total length of tubing is 1,908.19 ml of S25 UF PVC Tubing. DN 200 MM. For the treatment plant, a Sewage Treatment Plant was designed according to CEPIS standards and recommendations, made up of: Grating Chamber, Imhoff Tank, Drying Bed, Biological Filter and Drying Chamber
