The present thesis of Investigation aims like Objective to Realize the comparison of the stability of a day with gabions and preys of gravity for a reservoir in the gulch Suyorida - Santiago de chuco. In this way, the aim is to improve the existing irrigation infrastructure in the area of the Zuro-Suyorida committee, due to the farmers of the district of Santiago de Chuco and especially the hamlets of Punchaypampa and Imbal, such as the shortage of water in the most of the year; that is, from May to December; Which means an offer of idle labor. To design the dike in the Suyorida stream, it was necessary to compile historical meteorological data given to us by the stations of Santiago de Chuco, Mollepata and Conchucos, and the studies made by the National Water Authority, in the Tablachaca basin taken as Base for the micro basin of Suyorida. After having executed the calculation and the different softwares on which we rely on, for example: CrowPad, Hec-Ras, Arcgis, Autocad, among others. The design of a sea dam capable of storing approximately 10,000 cubic meters of water to satisfy the 90.5 hectares surrounding the Quebrada Suyorida throughout the year was carried out. The flow of the design for said dike was obtained by means of the average of the Study prepared by the National Water Authority in said study zone, and by means of the Float method (In-situ) being 7m3 / s Performed the analysis of displacement and turning of the structures, which comply with the stability parameters, obtaining as a result more stable gravity pressure, but taking into account the costs, in the construction and transport to the execution zone. The dike, turns out to be economically more feasible.
